...obviously a favourite word at the moment. I love the way Nowton Park put things on for the kids at holiday times. Hunting down the coloured pictures scattered around the park (be it Easter or Halloween related) is always a hit.
This half-term, they've got an Animal Quiz in the maze. Excellent fun. We had a competition, Little Miss and me v Big Miss and Mum to see who could complete it first.
They've cut the hedge down bit since last year, so, if you're big enough, you can see over it. But we didn't cheat and only got lost the once. It is a little bit muddy, so you might want to wear wellies if you try it - Little Miss lost a shoe at one point.
There are 12 of these animal posts to find to reveal the mystery hidden creature (12 letters). This was the first one we found, which gave us a 'V' as the 4th letter of the 12. Can you guess the answer? Well you can always go and do the quiz yourself to find out - it costs only 50p! Oh, and by the way, Little Miss and I won. Yey!
