Now I must get round to describing the "Whizzo Toys" saga before the end of the week.
...but still alive. Some occasional musings on life in and around Bury St Edmunds and some adventures while I look for something new to do, including a spell Down Under and a second life in Shropshire.

John I am in suspense about the Whizzo Toys saga now, post it soon!
Those of us 'on the inside' can have a quick refresher on Whizzo Toys - I recomend tickets to the RSC on the basis of the bit I read...
I'll watch your blog with interest John, Thursday lunchtimes won't be the same without you!!!
John, if it's that good, how about a 'guest spot' on the Thursday lunchtime session.
Now that you’re leaving I’ll have to let you in to my secret about the monthly telcos late at night.
I was not on them.
Instead I have programmed an intelligent answering system with speech output. It consists of just three production rules.
IF greeted
THEN say(“Hi”)
IF statement
CONTAINS “Who is going to do that”
OR IMPLIES work
THEN silence
IF call_ends
THEN hangup()
John

Want Whizzo toys saga! Want it now!
Best wishes John. Howard
John! What a shame. It wont be the same without you, especially the ABP courses will be so much less fun without you. I wish you all the best for your future plans. And don't forget to call if you happen to visit Switzerland. You are always very welcome. Peter
